1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how AccumIQ ("AccumIQ," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when organizations and their authorized users access AccumIQ websites, software, integrations, and related support services (collectively, the "Service"). AccumIQ is designed primarily for business and organizational use.
This public website does not include advertising technology by default. AccumIQ does not sell customer business data or personal information for advertising.
2. Information we may process
Depending on how an organization configures the Service, AccumIQ may process:
- Account and contact information, such as names, business email addresses, roles, and organization information.
- Operational business data, such as production, inventory, purchasing, receiving, sales, delivery, labor, and related transaction data.
- Financial and accounting data, such as customers, invoices, invoice lines, payments, accounts receivable, financial reports, and other information authorized through connected accounting systems.
- Integration information, including third-party account identifiers, company/realm identifiers, connection status, and OAuth tokens needed to maintain authorized connections.
- Technical and audit information, such as timestamps, error information, sync history, access events, and application audit records.
- Support information that a user chooses to provide when requesting help.
3. Connected services, including QuickBooks Online
AccumIQ can connect to third-party business systems only when an authorized customer or administrator permits the connection. The information available to AccumIQ depends on the permissions and scopes granted through that provider.
For QuickBooks Online, AccumIQ's current accounting integration is designed for read-only financial access unless a separate capability is expressly identified and enabled. Depending on the customer's authorization, AccumIQ may receive company information and accounting records needed for financial reporting, reconciliation, collections, and management analysis.

4. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Connect and reconcile authorized data sources.
- Generate dashboards, reports, forecasts, exception signals, and other decision-support outputs.
- Authenticate users and enforce access controls.
- Diagnose errors, preserve auditability, and support customers.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of customers, users, AccumIQ, and others.
We do not use customer accounting or operational data to create advertising profiles or sell such data to advertisers.
5. When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help host, secure, deliver, or support the Service, subject to appropriate contractual and operational controls. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a corporate transaction where permitted by law.
Third-party integrations are governed by the third party's own terms and privacy practices in addition to this Policy.
6. Security
AccumIQ uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, encrypted storage for sensitive integration credentials where supported, audit logging, data minimization, and least-privilege integration design. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain audit and business records, satisfy contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Retention periods can vary by data type and customer arrangement.
Customers may request deletion of eligible information. Disconnecting a third-party integration stops future authorized access after the provider processes the revocation, but it does not necessarily delete information that was previously imported. Deletion requests are handled subject to applicable contractual, legal, backup, and audit requirements.
8. Customer and user choices
Authorized customers can control which supported systems they connect to AccumIQ and can revoke third-party authorization through the applicable provider's controls. Requests to access, correct, or delete information can be submitted through support.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.
10. International use
Organizations are responsible for determining whether their use of the Service is appropriate under the laws that apply to them, including any requirements related to cross-border transfers or regulated data.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or other appropriate channels.
